Our BarnCraft MDF doors are crafted from solid 1-3/8" thick MDF and meet CARB certification standards. Each door comes white primed, ready for your paint color, or you can choose from select Sherwin-Williams finishes. Most designs are router-carved on both sides, with the exception of the X Blackboard door, which is carved only on the front.

We do not pre-drill for mounting hardware, allowing you to customize placement. However, if you select our inset Vista handle, we will rout the hole for you.

When installing hardware on MDF doors, always pre-drill pilot holes to prevent damage. Hole size will vary depending on the hardware type—clavos, Vista pulls, wrought iron, Gage, or Slade. If using GAGE hardware (not recommended due to door weight), ensure pilot holes are drilled to the correct depth—about ¼" shorter than the screw.
