Houdini Barn Doors
I ordered two set of Houdini barn doors for my home. My main concern when shopping for the perfect door was quality as well as functionality. I haven’t installed them yet, but they are really well made. I work in manufacturing and am pleased with the parts I received. Installation instructions are well written and packaged perfectly. I will update my review after they are installed.

Single Vintage Barn Door Roller
I love these rollers.
I purchased them to replace the ones that came with my original barn door and they are fantastic. Easy installation , look great and they are remarkably quiet when they roll.
The Iron is solid and the wheels are a composite that provides smooth rolling with the added advantage of no noise.Highly recommended.

Caprock door is beautiful in appearance.
Our installer pointed out two or three of the wood panels were pulling up. He noted they were held in place with double side tape and not glued. This is very disappointing for an advertised quality product. I will be calling next week to inquire about how you plan to rectify this problem.

I am very happy with the quality of the door. It is beautiful and much heavier than I expected. I would definitely buy again. It would have been nice if I could have bought the door hardware there as well for hanging it but we needed brass to match the rest of the hardware and that was not available.

Beautiful high quality door
The door is beautiful. It was complicated to install though and even though it says it’s level, it still has issues staying closed sometimes. We originally ordered a too small size because we measured the inside dimensions instead of the outside dimensions. That could have been clearer on the website. We had to take the door back ourselves or pay a lot for FedEx ground. They did refund the money for the first door without issue. Also, when we ordered the replacement they didn’t have the space cut for the inside door handle so that was a bit of an ordeal since I had to router it out myself. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I would use Barndoorz again in the future.

Beautiful and quality door! This was just what we needed for the doorway between our master bedroom and bath. We ordered it in a natural finish and it matches our hardwood floors beautifully. I installed the door myself and it was very easy to follow the step-by-step instructions as long as you have a ladder (ours was 96" tall) and the few needed tools.
Customer support from Barndoorz.com was fantastic, I sent them pictures of our open doorway and they confirmed exactly what I needed to order, and when we had a defective soft close mechanism they sent a new one right away. Highly recommend. -

Beautiful Door
My wife and I ordered the unfinished Santa Monica barn door with water-textured panes and 12-inch San Juan pull handle for a bathroom remodel and we are well pleased with this door! I was initially worried about ordering something big like this online, but Barndoorz answered my questions ahead of time, so we got just the right glass texture we wanted (available nowhere else for us locally) and the whole door shipped safely in pristine condition on a secure pallet.
I really took my time to paint the inside door trim dark gray and a nice white for the wood (something most might not have the patience for), and then also had to replace the door jam since we were replacing a conventional hinge door. This door does wonders for our master bathroom. It's beautiful, really classy, provides the privacy we need yet lets the light through, and gives us a little more space inside the bathroom. We're so pleased and would order from Barndoorz again in the future. -

Arrived after weather delayed shipment 3 weeks late. I love the color, however the door has many bore holes and is not as smooth as it looks in the photo, I know natural wood has variances, but there are significantly many dark holes/grooves. We haven't installed it yet since we have to shorten the metal rail first.

Looks good
The door quality is definitely five-star, but the instructions and supplied materials only three-star. We recommend you add an option to have the holes pre-drilled for the ordered hardware (similar to the option to route the finger pull). The screws provided were too long for the molly fasteners that really didn't work out well. There is very little room for error when it comes to measuring for the brackets. We got the door up, but only with the help of a strong off-duty fireman.

Product Review
The product selection process, self service ordering, and communication with Barndoorz was great. The product itself was package very well and arrived completely intact. The reason this didn't get a better review was for two points. First the rail bolt points should be set at 16" on center to align more directly with standard home stud spacing to provide support for the door which weighs over 120lbs and requires the rail to support a considerable load. Furthermore the instructions weren't very descript and called for using a 5/16 inch drill bit for the pilot holes when a bit two sizes smaller would result in the rail anchor holding the rail in place. This resulted in the weight of the door causing the rail to sag and the bolts unable to effectively hold into the header board I used where this no stud. It is now impossible for me to level the rail and create a smooth operating door. This sag also causes the rollers to contact the rail bolts while the door is sliding across the rack. Otherwise the quality of the product itself was exceptional.

Solid!
The MDF door is solid like a rock. We ordered it 84 x 48" and it weighed 200 lbs. Getting it up the stairs was not easy. It was smelly when it came out of the box, but after a few days (and several coats of paint), that is was longer an issue. Right now it is installed and functioning perfectly.

Chevron door review
My wife picked out this door and all the features and hardware to go with it. Overall the door is very heavy and the hardware looks great. I assumed the door would be predrilled to fit the hardware and was disappointed it wasn’t. I think given that it’s made of MDF and not solid wood it’s tricky to drill it and not mess up the board. I would have preferred a solid wood door or a predrilled MDF door for the price. Your company was easy to work with and the finished product looks good.

Brentwood Barn Door Review
Overall, we're pleased with our barn door from Barndoorz. The door came packed sufficiently to protect it during transport. The finish is very nice. It's very solid and sturdy. In fact, I'm shocked at how much the door weighs (compounded by the fact that it's 42" wide and 8' tall).
I have only two constructive criticisms. One, the installation instructions tell you to drill a 5/16" hole to attach the rail to your header. That may be correct for the bolts with anchors but that hole size is much too large for the lag screws for attaching the rail to a wood header. This was a significant problem when I went to mount the rail to the header using the provided lag screws as the holes were same size as the lag screws. This forced me to have to fill the holes, drill new holes and shift my rail a couple inches one direction which then forced me to have to cut the rail to work properly with this new install plan. All because the instructions do not specify the 5/16" bit size is only appropriate if you're not using the lag screws.
My second criticism is the hole routed on the inside of the door for the pocket handle was not deep enough to allow the pocket handle to sit flush with the door. Due to the rounded edges on the depression of the pocket handle I had to file away the edges of the routed opening to accommodate the pocket handle so it would sit flush. For the price of the door I wouldn't expect to have to spend time making sure their pocket handle fits in the routed hole flush.
All in all, we're pleased with the door, the hardware, and the soft close mechanism. Just frustrated by a few aspects of the installation as detailed above.

Great door, don't understand lag spacing
Great door, heavy, quality. Problem I have with the door is the rail is predrilled for lags to go into studs. However they're spaced at 17 22/32, and most reputable construction is 16" on center. Thus I'm forced to tap my own holes in the track, but now because the lag spacing is tighter I will need an additional lag, which I cannot purchase on their site under hardware. Thus we've yet to hang the door and we wrapped up construction weeks ago

Two Panel Barn Door Review
I couldn’t be happier with my new barn door. The door is a high quality product, and the wood I chose is true to the wood sample I purchased. I highly recommend purchasing wood samples prior to ordering your door. Had I ordered my door based on the wood samples online, I would have been terribly disappointed. Some of the wood samples definitely look different in person. Word to the wise, spend a little extra on the samples. Great company. I highly recommend.

Chevron door review
We love the look of our door. I would recommend using a regular handle (not a flush handle) if you get the soft close feature. The door is heavy, and the soft close works well, so you need to have a good grip to slide the door. It’s hard to open and close. We will probably be changing the handle. (Which will involve wood filling and painting the whole door). The handle on the inside of the door is placed right at the edge, and we designed our door with some overlap for privacy, so we will have to add a handle inside to be able to open and close. I recommend not getting the handles on the inside at all, and placing them on yourself after. It’s a beautiful door, nice quality for sure. Just Bummed we will have redo handles and paint it.

We are happy with our purchase and would order from you again, but want to mention a few issues. The door and most of the hardware arrived a few days later than scheduled as UPS did not pick up the item from your facility on the day it was ready for shipping. The items were very securely packaged. A few items were missing from the first shipment--the door handles and privacy lock, but Erin was able to get them delivered to us relatively quickly and our contractor returned to do the installation. I would suggest including the Installation sheet for the privacy lock as it is not self-explanatory. Our contractor did not have access to a computer and we were not home at the time of the lock installation. He had to return again to install the lock once we printed out the instructions. Thank you.
